Shop & Sales Assistant – Part‑Time and Full-Time (Flexible Hours) Location: Oswego, IL Company: Lion Concrete Classical Statuary About Us: We are a small, family‑run artisan business specializing in handcrafted concrete statuary. Our environment is friendly, and very hands‑on. We take pride in quality, craftsmanship, and excellent customer experience. Job Summary: We’re looking for a dependable, friendly person to assist with both shop work and light customer/sales tasks. This role is available as part-time or full-time. The position requires someone who can stand for extended periods and work comfortably in all weather conditions as some tasks take place outdoors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, and interacting with customers or local businesses. Responsibilities: • Assist with concrete manufacturing and mold preparation • Help with painting, finishing, and sealing statuary • Move, load, and organize inventory (must be able to lift 40–50 lbs.) • Maintain a clean and organized workspace • Communicate with customers (messages, scheduling pickups) • Help place products at customer’s home • Assist with loading/unloading for deliveries or product placement • Take simple photos or short videos for social media (optional) Qualifications: • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work • Comfortable with hands‑on tasks and learning new skills • Friendly and professional with customers and local businesses • Organized and able to work independently • Reliable transportation required • No experience necessary — willing to train the right person Schedule: • Part‑time • Flexible hours • Weekday availability preferred Pay: Work is performed as a 1099 independent contractor, meaning the contractor is responsible for their own taxes. • Discussed during interview How to Apply: Submit your resume or a brief message with your name, availability, and a short introduction about yourself to hello@lionconcrete.net
